Before you install
- Android 7.0 or newer.
- A 64-bit (arm64) phone — every phone sold in Nepal for years now, but not some very old budget handsets.
- Permission to install outside the Play Store. Android asks once, for the browser you downloaded with, and you can turn it back off after.
Only the all-in-one app is on Google Play. The rest are downloaded straight from us, so each one is listed with the SHA-256 of the certificate it is signed with. Every app has its own key: check the one you downloaded with apksigner verify --print-certs and it must match the fingerprint printed below it. Two of our apps sharing a fingerprint, or one changing between releases, is something to ask us about before installing.
Most of these apps need an account your company issues. Khata is the exception — a shopkeeper signs themselves up with a phone number.
